Hus
A traditional four-row mancala game played by several communities in Namibia, including the Damara, Namaqua, Herero and Ndonga. The wooden board has 32 holes, with larger boards also used in Africa. Players distribute and capture seeds between the rows according to mancala-style rules, aiming to reduce the opponent’s supply. The game belongs to the Kalah family and is also spelled ||hūs.
