La Bataille de Wiederitzsch 1813

This historical wargame depicts the Battle of Wiederitzsch during the 1813 Battle of Nations near Leipzig. A greatly outnumbered French and Polish force defends the villages against Russian and Prussian troops under General Langeron, with artillery and shifting control of the twin villages central to the action. Players alternate command, movement, cavalry charges, fire, melee, and morale checks in 20-minute turns. Updated Premier Rules add command control, elite units, Landwehr skirmishing, Russian dragoon abilities, improved towns, dusk combat, unit loyalties, and plundering. The game includes the historical battle and four additional scenarios, including cavalry combat and attacks around Möckern.
