Mythic Carpathia
A roleplaying setting inspired by 19th-century Central and Eastern Europe, a region shaped by wars and ruled by the Austro-Hungarian, Prussian, and Russian empires. It explores the history and folklore of Slavic and other peoples, whose communities have long lived alongside strange creatures. Based in Prague, the local branch of the Society sends investigators across the region to help those in danger and find ways to deal with its vaesen. The setting includes creatures native to the land, introduced by settlers, or born from religious beliefs, along with historical material about the region and its cultures.
