Panzers Last Stand: Battles for Budapest, 1945

The German attempt to break through to surrounded forces in Budapest during the Axis relief operations of January to March 1945. Players command German, Soviet, Romanian, and Hungarian forces across a series of scenarios covering Operations Konrad I, II, and III, Southwind, and Spring Awakening. Armored formations, infantry, cavalry, assault pioneers, and improvised defenders fight across rural and urban terrain, with rules for river crossings, urban combat, deception, and fortified positions.
