Pazaak

Players draw from a communal deck and aim to get their score as close to 20 as possible without exceeding it. Each player builds a 10-card side deck before play and starts each game with four of those modifier cards in hand; these can be played to add or subtract small amounts from the running total. Turns consist of drawing from the main pile then choosing whether to play a side-card, end the turn, or stand; a round ends when both players stand or a player exceeds 20. The nearer-to-20 player wins the round, and play continues until one player has won three rounds.
