The Hunt for Red October

Modern naval combat in the North Atlantic, ripped from the pages of Tom Clancy. Eight scenarios pit Soviet and NATO forces against one another, using combinations of aircraft, surface ships, submarines, ports, airbases, and detection patrols. Players move concealed units through irregular sea and land spaces, spending a limited number of detection attempts to locate opposing forces. Once detected, units exchange attacks in two phases, with dice determining hits and destruction. Victory depends on the conditions of each scenario.
