Ark Nova

يخطط اللاعبون لحديقة حيوانات حديثة ويديرونها بأسلوب علمي، فيبنون الحظائر، ويؤوون الحيوانات، ويدعمون مشاريع الحفاظ على الطبيعة حول العالم. تتمحور آلية اللعب حول لوحة شخصية وخمس بطاقات إجراءات تعتمد تأثيراتها على الخانة التي توجد فيها: سحب بطاقات حديقة حيوانات جديدة، وبناء الحظائر والمرافق، وإيواء الحيوانات، وإرسال عمال الجمعية لتنفيذ المهام، ولعب بطاقات الرعاة أو جمع التبرعات. وتوفر مجموعة كبيرة من بطاقات الحيوانات، والمتخصصين، والحظائر الخاصة، والرعاة، والحفاظ على الطبيعة قدرات فريدة لتعزيز الجاذبية والسمعة العلمية. يوازن اللاعبون بين الدخل والجاذبية ونقاط الحفاظ على الطبيعة لإنجاح حديقة حيواناتهم ودفع جهود الحفاظ على الطبيعة عالميًا.

The unbalanced unique cards and odd interactions ruined the experience for me. I admit the game integrates its systems skillfully, but the cards—the core of any card game—are its downfall: poorly designed UI, lack of variety, and effects that barely connect to the animal names. Combined with other shortcomings in the components, I can't give it more than a 6/10.

RESEÑA COMPLETA Diseña un parque zoológico financiando proyectos de conservación, colaborando con universidades y alojando distintas especies de animales. MECANICAS Mezcla distintas mecánicas, donde las principales son la Acciones potenciadas, la colocación de losetas y los tags. ESCALABILIDAD (1-4) Ideal - 2 Correcto - 3 No recomendado - 4 Su único defecto. Si bien es jugable en todo su rango de jugadores, su punto óptimo es a 2 jugadores. A 3 funciona bien. A 4 el entreturno se hace largo y la partida se alarga bastante, pero sabiéndolo, se puede jugar. No he jugado suficiente al solitario como para dar una opinión. Pero va bien para aprender a jugar. ACCESIBILIDAD ⭐⭐⭐ Requiere Rodaje Aunque las acciones principales son sencillas, la enorme iconografía y el mazo masivo de cartas exigen una partida de toma de contacto. Disfrutable desde la primera partida. PROFUNDIDAD ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Abisal Muy táctico. Saber pivotar la estrategia según las cartas que van saliendo y optimizar los tracks de puntuación requiere muchas partidas. VARIABILIDAD ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enorme La inmensa cantidad de cartas, los mapas asimétricos y los objetivos hacen que no haya dos partidas iguales. IMPACTO DEL AZAR ⭐⭐⭐ Alto Un gran mazo de cartas también tiene sus contras. El robo de cartas condiciona las oportunidades disponibles y dificulta la planificación de una estrategia. Hay que adaptarse a lo que salga. INTERACCION ⭐ Multisolitario Tipo Indirecto: Salvo por la competencia por los animales y bonus, apenas hay interacción. Cada uno optimiza su zoo. TEMATIZACION Integrado La gestión del zoo, los animales y los proyectos de conservación están muy bien reflejados por las mecánicas. DEPENDENCIA DEL GRUPO El juego funciona como un tiro por sí solo. Simplemente requiere jugadores dispuestos a afrontar un euro largo, pero no especialmente experimentado para funcionar. DURACION 90 - 150 mins. SETUP / TEARDOWN Agónico El montaje y recogida es un tanto tedioso. EXPANSIONES / MODULOS Salvo los mapas asimétricos, el juego no dispone de módulos. Expansión - Mundo Marino: Aporta nuevos tipos de animales y habitats. Puede integrarse tras pocas partidas, ya que no añade más complejidad, solo variedad. After I use an action card, do I leave it in the same slot?

No. After completing the action, move that card to slot 1 and shift the cards that were to its left one slot to the right. (Rulebook, p. 8)

When a break is triggered, does it happen immediately?

Finish your current turn first, then everyone resolves the break. Players discard down to their hand limit, refresh workers and the card display, and collect income, including income from kiosks. (Rulebook, pp. 7, 18–19)

Can I take any card from the display, even if it’s outside my reputation range?

Only if you snap: with an unupgraded Cards action, snapping requires strength 5; with an upgraded Cards action, it requires strength 3. Otherwise, when drawing from the display with the upgraded Cards action, you may take only cards within your reputation range. (Rulebook, p. 9)

Can I do more than one task with the Association action?

With the unupgraded action, perform exactly one task. After upgrading it, you may perform different tasks whose total strength does not exceed your action strength; each task also needs the required active worker or workers. (Rulebook, pp. 14–16)

Can I build several enclosures with one Build action?

With the unupgraded Build action, build exactly one building, up to the action’s strength in size. After upgrading it, you may build multiple different buildings, as long as their total size is no greater than the action strength. (Rulebook, p. 10)

How do I know when the game ends, and how are victory points calculated?

The game ends when a player’s Appeal and Conservation counters meet or pass one another in the same scoring area; that player finishes their turn, then everyone else takes one more turn. For scoring, subtract the lowest Appeal value in your Conservation counter’s scoring area from your Appeal value; the result is your victory points. (Rulebook, p. 19)
