Players reenact World War II at a global scale on a large world map divided into territories. Up to five players take the roles of the major powers on two teams and command armies, tanks, fighters, bombers, battleships, carriers, submarines, transports, anti-air guns, and factories represented by plastic miniatures. Gameplay alternates between purchasing and producing units, moving forces across sea and land zones, and resolving combat with differing unit abilities. Teammates coordinate offensives and production, and players can invest production in research that may unlock powerful technologies.
