Blackbeard

Players take the roles of 18th‑century pirates cruising major sea lanes to capture merchant vessels and amass loot. Movement and actions are driven by a variable card deck that determines which pirate or English warship activates next, creating an unpredictable turn order. Encounters with merchantmen, treasure convoys, warships and rival crews resolve through tactical choices, risk assessment and dice-driven events. Players can switch between commanding pirates and, when not active as a pirate, directing English military ships to hunt them. The objective is to accumulate wealth, expand a fleet and attempt retirement before capture, battle or mutiny ends a career.
