Dixit ديكست

Players take turns as the storyteller, choosing one of the six illustrated cards in hand and offering a brief clue — a word, phrase, or sound — that relates to that card’s surreal image. Other players each select a card from their own hand that best matches the storyteller’s clue and submit it face down. The storyteller shuffles the submitted cards with their own, reveals them, and everyone (except the storyteller) secretly votes for which image they think inspired the clue. Scoring rewards the storyteller and correct guessers only if some, but not all, players identify the storyteller’s card; alternative results give points to the other players. The game ends when the deck is depleted or a player reaches the target score, and the highest score wins.

Everything fits into the new edition's insert (420 sleeved cards - I think this is the maximum), the new voting dials are perfect. The more I play it the more I appreciate its simplicity. It just works, and it turns out I usually prefer to play it over other similar 'artsy' games that are more convoluted. + Odyssey + Anniversary + Revelations + Journey

ماذا يحدث إذا وجد الجميع أو لم يجد أحد بطاقة راوِي القصة؟

كم نقطة يحصل عليها الراوي واللاعبون الذين خمّنوا بشكل صحيح عندما لا يكتشف البطاقة إلا بعض اللاعبين؟

عندما يجد بعض اللاعبين (ولكن ليس جميعهم) صورة راوي القصة، يحصل راوي القصة على 3 نقاط، وكل لاعب وجد صورته يحصل أيضًا على 3 نقاط؛ بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يحصل كل لاعب غير راوي القصة على نقطة واحدة عن كل تصويت حصلت عليه صورته. (Rulebook, p.1)

ماذا يحدث في نهاية الدور وكيف تنتهي اللعبة؟

بعد تسجيل النقاط، يسحب كل لاعب بطاقات حتى يصبح لديه 6 بطاقات، ويصبح الراوي التالي هو اللاعب الذي على اليسار؛ وتنتهي اللعبة عندما يتم سحب آخر بطاقة من الرزمة، ويكون الفائز هو اللاعب الأبعد على مسار النقاط. (Rulebook, p.1)
