Players manage a band of villagers in a medieval fantasy city by placing and timing worker placement between cards that form the city layout. Workers are removed at chosen moments to collect resources, recruit companions, buy items, and visit key locations. Players then send their party on quests and resolve encounters that affect their progress and reputation. Gameplay blends strategic timing, tactical interaction, and resource planning as players balance immediate gains against long-term objectives and narrative outcomes.
