Labyrinth: The War on Terror, 2001 – ?

Players simulate the global struggle between Islamist extremist movements and Western counterterrorism efforts from 2001 onward. One side directs insurgency, terrorist attacks, recruitment, and regional influence; the other conducts military strikes, intelligence operations, nation-building, and diplomatic initiatives. Gameplay uses card-driven events and area control on a world map to resolve conflicts, generate crises, and shift popular support. Players balance immediate operations with long-term political goals, manage resources and risks, and respond to evolving event cards that reshape theaters of conflict and opportunity.
