Dragonbond: Lords of Vaala

Players take the roles of dragons and human generals vying for influence in a fractured realm. Dragons raid and devour armies to gain Power, while generals raise and position troops across regions, harvest resources and customize forces. Actions are programmed secretly with face-down action cards, then resolved in order until players pass. Combat uses dice with criticals, counterattacks and retreats; wounded dragons track health and must rest. When a dragon and a general enter the same region peacefully they may become bonded, unlocking a paired ability that links their play for the remainder of the game. Power tokens fuel spells from unique Vaala decks and determine victory; the first player to collect 10 Power wins.
