Maharaja: The Game of Palace Building in India

Players take on the roles of rival architects who travel between Indian cities to design and erect houses and palaces for the Maharaja. Play supports two to five players and uses simultaneous action selection with turn-order resolution; actions include earning money, constructing buildings, influencing the Maharaja’s movement, and drafting architects with distinct powers. The Maharaja scores the current city each round based on its buildings, paying players accordingly before he moves on. Victory goes to the first player who completes seven palaces. The game also includes two advanced rule variants for added strategic depth.
