Voidfall

Players lead rival Great Houses in a sci‑fi campaign to purge a spreading cosmic corruption and reshape a fractured galactic empire. The game runs across three cycles, each introducing new events and scoring conditions while players develop technology, advance house‑specific civilization tracks, and manage sectors’ infrastructure, population, and production. Gameplay centers on choosing and sequencing focus cards that grant two of three powerful actions, plus deterministic space combat resolved without dice. Players expand and fight with multiple fleet types, customize their empires, and pursue victory either by pushing back the corrupted forces in solo/coop or by outmaneuvering rivals for influence in competitive play.

How many actions can I take from my Focus, and what does flipping a Trade token do?

You may take up to two of the three Focus actions, in any order, and each action at most once. If you flip a Trade token during Selection, you may take all three; you can’t flip a token on the turn you gained it (Rulebook, pp. 9–10).

When do I play an Agenda, and when does it count as being in play?

Play it from your hand during Selection, and one of its Focus icons must match your selected Focus. During Clean-up, you may place it in an eligible non-starting slot; it isn’t in play until then (Rulebook, pp. 9, 12, 32).

Can I use Credits to pay my Upkeep?

No. Each Upkeep must be paid with 1 Food or a total of 2 Materials and/or Energy; Credits cannot substitute. For each Upkeep you can’t pay, lose 3 Influence, and you may not choose to lose Influence instead of paying (Rulebook, pp. 15, 17).

Does my Production Level tell me how many resources I get when I produce?

No. Guilds and sector Population determine your Production Level, but you gain resources equal to your Production Yield. Adjust your Production Level when Guilds, Population, or sector control changes; the corresponding Yield is set by the rules’ Level/Yield table (Rulebook, pp. 19–20).

Can I move my last Fleet Power out of a sector when I regroup?

No—you may not abandon a non-Home sector by regrouping. You can leave it without Fleet Power when invading another sector, but you must discard a Glory token if able; the Voidborn then takes over the abandoned sector (Rulebook, pp. 23–24).
