Players lead rival noble houses across a variable map assembled from hexagonal terrain tiles, maneuvering armies, leaders, and mercenaries to claim territories and control the country’s wealth. Florins fund cards, military forces, and ongoing troop wages, while also providing a direct route to victory. Players must balance their house’s finances, noble standing, and defenses as they compete to capture territory or threaten an opponent’s capital.
