Set in Japan in 1955, the game begins shortly before pilots discover a new Godzilla on Iwato Island near Osaka. Over a ten-year period, players experience the return of giant monsters, encounters with advanced alien species, and the rapid development of human technology as the world is reshaped by repeated kaiju attacks.
