In a fantasy world shattered into drifting fragments, players take the roles of powerful Masters competing to bring as many shards as possible under their control. They use armies, spells, and rituals to contest territories, exploiting each shard’s terrain, army types, and special rules. At the start of each round, players decide whether to join the battle for the current shard. Army strength, classes, factions, terrain bonuses, and played spells determine authority points, while rituals provide powerful effects but prevent participation in that round’s battle. The game ends when the shard deck is exhausted, and players score points from conquered shards and completed rituals.
