1944: Battle of the Bulge

A two-player operational wargame simulating the 1944 Ardennes offensive. One side fields stronger resources early while the other gains strength over time, reflecting the historical imbalance. Turns use a shared pool of resource points to move and conduct combat, with each action costing points and players free to sequence moves and attacks to create and exploit breakthroughs. Optional secret objective cards for the attacking side introduce hidden goals that only reveal themselves at game end. The game uses a small counter count and concise rules for quick setup and play, emphasizing maneuver, timing, and exploitation of gaps in the opponent’s line.
