A Song of Ice and Fief (fan expansion for Fief: France 1429)

A fan-made mod that relocates the original feudal strategy game to a medieval fantasy continent and streamlines many original rules. Players take control of one of nine great houses, each with a unique ability and a fixed starting location on the map. Each round players recruit and move forces, vie for noble and military titles, build holdings, and pursue glory through diplomacy, warfare, and intrigue. Enhanced card mechanics support assassinations, betrayals, kidnappings and royal justice, while new building types expand economic and strategic options. Additional mechanics introduce seasonal hazards and a cooperative defense of a northern barrier that can threaten all players if neglected. Components are provided as a free print-and-play package.
