A science-horror adventure set on Barzakh, an ice-bound mining colony where a reactor failure killed hundreds. Flawed nanotechnology reanimated the dead as sentient but decaying “Shades,” who now live apart from the surviving population. When someone begins destroying them, the adventurers investigate a conspiracy involving an extremist seeking to eradicate the undead and manipulate the living against them. The scenario focuses on uncovering the threat and preventing further violence before the Shades are eliminated.
