New factions rise amid prophecies and reclaimed enemy tech, as players expand their presence and pursue renewal across fresh regions. Players draft and deploy three faction types, explore new locations like the Cosmic Swamp and Innovation Hub, and confront two novel foes while competing for control of Corrupted Stars and scattered Ancient Shrines. The expansion adds an event deck, new development abilities, and an exotech card deck that grants persistent effects and options to commandeer raider units. Components support solo play when combined with the escalation content.
