Ascension: Skulls & Sails

Set during an Age of Sail expedition to tropical islands, players recruit heroes and constructs, defeat monsters, and compete to earn the most honor. The game adds a new crew resource used to move a ship token around a modular map, letting players claim locations, pursue objectives, or confront a powerful Kraken threat. Players still use runes and power to acquire cards and gain abilities, while new Raid effects let them seize treasure cards from rivals. Deckbuilding and tactical map movement interact as players balance acquiring stronger cards, managing crew, and timing raids and sea battles.
