Backgrounds for Post Apocalyptic 5E

This booklet presents 30 survivor backgrounds for post-apocalyptic tabletop roleplaying games based on 5e systems. The backgrounds cover roles such as scavengers, traders, ex-soldiers, and warlords, replacing traditional fantasy origins with histories shaped by collapse and survival. Each background provides a narrative foundation, two skill proficiencies, relevant tool or vehicle proficiencies, starting equipment, and a unique feature. They can be used to define a character’s past, abilities, and place in a setting ranging from the aftermath of nuclear war to the remnants of a fallen space colony.
