Beyond the Rhine: The Campaign for Northwest Europe

OCS covering the Western Front campaign from September 1944 to April 1945, as German forces retreat toward the West Wall and the Allies advance toward the Rhine. Players command battalion- to division-sized formations across 3.5-mile hexes and half-week turns, managing supply, terrain, weather, air interdiction, and the challenges of river crossings. The game includes campaigns and scenarios covering Market-Garden, the Hürtgen Forest, the Bulge, Nordwind, Remagen, and the final advance into Germany. Special rules handle bridges, pontoons, economic objectives, Allied supply restrictions, German Kampfgruppen, random events, and the Wacht am Rhein counteroffensive. Three large campaigns use four maps and more than 1,000 combat units, with smaller scenarios available for individual operations.
