Born in Blood

The characters arrive in the abandoned fishing town of Estinn and investigate a grisly mystery involving betrayal and dark rituals. Their search leads to an underwater dungeon beneath the sea floor, where a monstrous threat lurks in the cold waters of the bay. Designed as a Lovecraftian horror one-shot for four or five 9th-level characters, the adventure takes approximately 4–6 hours and culminates in a battle with a newly born godling.
