Set in British India during the Imperial Age of the 1870s and 1880s, the game explores the subcontinent’s fragmented political structure, diverse customs and languages, and tensions between Hindu and Muslim communities. Players represent competing powers and manage political, military, and administrative influence as British rule expands following the 1857 uprising and the transfer of authority from the East India Company to the Crown.
