Explore three detailed fortresses from classic fantasy settings: a stronghold of the Black Network, a bastion defending against undead armies, and a paladin’s star-shaped fortress. Each location includes a full-color poster, map, and booklet describing the castle and its inhabitants. The set includes large-scale miniatures scenarios, a campaign on the Drungar Frontier, and expanded rules for sieges, sorcery, and fortress warfare. Fold-up components allow players to assemble the featured castles or design their own, with towers, walls, buildings, accessories, floorplan pieces, and siege equipment such as ballistae, siege towers, and catapults.
