Crusader Rex

A two-player block war game set during the Third Crusade in the Levant. One player commands the Christian Frankish forces, the other commands the Muslim Saracens, and both contest control of key Victory Cities such as Jerusalem, Acre, Damascus, and Antioch. Units are represented by wooden blocks with hidden strengths; players maneuver, besiege cities, and engage in tactical combat that emphasizes maneuver, charges, harrying, and mustering. The map spans from Antioch to Egypt and supports variable setups and historical scenarios that introduce sieges, knight actions, and leader influence.
