D-Day Omaha Beach: Beach to Bocage

This folio wargame covers the American sector of the Normandy campaign from the D-Day landings through the advance into the bocage. Turns represent two to three days, with units shown as regiments, special battalions, and available fire support on a 2.5-mile-per-hex map. The Allied player must land at Omaha Beach under fire, overcome German infantry defending the bluffs, and link up with neighboring beach sectors. The fighting then moves through the constricted bocage countryside, where both sides contest key road junctions, including St. Lô. The game uses the Fire & Movement system with exclusive scenario rules and can be combined with other folios to represent a larger portion of the Normandy campaign.
