Dark Blood

Players take the role of competing asymmetrical cults vying to corrupt a small village through rituals, recruitment and bloodletting. Gameplay mixes area majority, worker placement and resource management as players place cultist miniatures on five shared locations, resolve actions in initiative order, gather resources, upgrade rituals and farm villagers for blood or converts. Each round changes available peasants and resources; players manage their Ritual Book player board to deploy cultists, improve abilities and execute dark favors like executions or sigil placement. After five rounds, corrupted locations, cult size, upgraded rituals, secret quests and hidden taint determine the winner.
