Life on Avedø proceeds at a slow pace, shaped by daily routines, rituals, and the relationships of its aging residents. When a catastrophic disease causes the dead to rise, they continue their familiar activities among the living without panic or explanation. This is a tragic drama and psychological horror scenario rather than an action game.
