A two-player card game set in a resource-trading island settlement where players develop personal domains by collecting and spending resource cards. Players play location and development cards, trade resources, and activate progress events to build roads, settlements and cities that score victory points. This edition bundles the base card game with the 2006 expansion that adds artist and benefactor cards, and includes a victory point counter plus small plastic miniatures for the mill and the knight. The tin box also provides storage space for the base game and many expansion cards when the inlay is removed.
