Disney Lorcana

Build a deck from a roster of familiar Disney characters presented in new and reimagined art styles. Players assume the role of an Illumineer and summon characters, play actions, and use items to collect lore tokens called “ink.” Gameplay centers on generating and spending ink, deploying characters to challenge opponents, and completing objectives to score points until a victory condition is met.

Regelspørgsmål

Besvaret ud fra regelbogen af Ludoyas regelassistent.

How many cards can I put into my inkwell each turn—can I ink more than once?

Inking is a once-per-turn turn action by default, but effects can allow you to put additional cards into your inkwell or put cards directly into the inkwell without counting toward the once-per-turn limit (see 4.2.1–4.2.3, page 12).

When a triggered ability "triggers," does it resolve right away?

No — triggered abilities are added to the bag when their condition is met and then resolve later following the bag’s resolution order or when the current effect finishes (see 6.2.3, page 30; and bag resolution, pages 39–40).

Can I use a character’s activated ability with an ink cost the same turn I played that character?

No — an activated ability on a character that has an [Ink] cost can only be used if the character is dry, which requires it to have been in play since the start of its controller’s turn (see 6.3.1.1 and the Set step, page 31 and page 11).

When two characters fight in a challenge, is damage dealt one at a time or simultaneously?

Damage in a challenge is calculated for each character and then all damage is dealt simultaneously (place damage counters equal to the damage dealt), after which a game state check occurs (see 4.6.6.1–4.6.6.3, page 15).

What does "drying" mean and when does a character stop drying?

Drying means a character can’t quest, challenge, or pay ink costs with [Ink] until it has been in play since the start of its controller’s turn; characters stop drying during the Set step of that controller’s Start‑of‑Turn Phase (see 1.7.5 and 3.2.2.1, pages 6 and 11).

If multiple replacement effects could apply to the same event, which one do I use?

Self‑replacement effects are applied first, then the player whose cards/effects are being affected chooses among other applicable replacement effects, and you repeat the process for any modified event until no more replacements apply (see 6.5.6–6.5.7, pages 33–34).
