Dynamic Encounters - Volume: 1

A ready-to-use sewer encounter features xulgath dwellers tending plump, sleepy ofalth that care only about being fed. The encounter includes four xulgath skulkers, a leader, and larval ofalth that function as a complex hazard rather than combatants. Design guidance covers reactive terrain, sewer blockages, sewage exposure, disease, scaling the encounter for different party levels, and using the ofalth as a hazard. It also provides special abilities for the xulgaths, including a transferable lair ability for the leader.
