Eilean Dubh: The Black Isle Gazetteer

A crowd-sourced fantasy sandbox setting detailing locations in and around Tenkar’s Landing. Each contributor describes a hex, with some areas subdivided into smaller hexes, creating a broad gazetteer of settlements, wilderness, encounters, and other points of interest. The material is designed for use with early-edition fantasy role-playing systems, but remains broadly compatible with games using similar structures. Encounter descriptions use a mix of generic details and traditional statistics such as race, class, level, hit dice, hit points, and descending armor class.
