E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Light Years from Home Game

Players cooperate as the children from the film to help a stranded alien build a communicator and return home. Players move around a neighborhood board using ramps and shortcuts to search for parts while evading federal agents who attempt to capture the alien. Victory requires assembling all communicator parts and bringing the alien to the rendezvous clearing in time for the mothership's arrival.

This game is very well paced and powered - each game the end has come down to the wire and when we finally won there was quite a bit of excitement. The pieces are cute, the theme is great for adults and kids, and the game requires very little reading. A great family pick.
