FFRPS: Free Fantasy Role Playing System

A free fantasy role-playing system closely related to classic dungeon-crawling rules, with many familiar combat and adventuring procedures alongside new character and magic systems. Characters are human and define six primary characteristics through a point-buy system, while derived values determine mana, hit points, and combat ability. Adventuring, combat, magic, and piety are tracked as separate levels, with narrative backgrounds replacing secondary skills. Magic uses mana points and organized schools of spells. Casters can adjust parameters such as range, duration, and area of effect, while spell difficulty and effectiveness depend on the intended outcome. Spells may fail, and targets can resist them with saving throws.
