Flames of War: Cassino

This army book covers the Italian Front from January to May 1944, with historical background, painting guides, and army lists for German, Allied, and Commonwealth forces, including Fallschirmjäger, French, American, British, Indian, Gurkha, and New Zealand formations. It also introduces the Infantry Aces escalation campaign. Infantry units gain experience across three successive battles, following one of three routes through the Liri Valley, the town of Cassino, or the mountains. Each route progresses from 500 to 700 to 900 points, with infantry miniatures representing the campaign command teams.
