FlexTale Environmental Encounters

A system-agnostic toolkit for generating varied encounters during travel in fantasy tabletop RPGs. It covers 23 terrain types, including lava, coastal regions, grasslands, and pine forests. Determine the terrain, roll a d20, and consult the resulting event, quirk, combat encounter, or no-encounter entry. Detailed tables and optional permutations provide thousands of possible results, with additional tools tailored to 5E, Pathfinder, Pathfinder Second Edition, OSR, and Dungeon Crawl Classics.
