Fountains

Players act as town fountaineers building a layered fountain in a personal round board that holds a spout and four feature spaces. On a turn, move one of three shared tokens 1–3 spaces clockwise, take the top tile or a small feature next to that token, and place it on any empty space of the fountain, expanding outward or upward. Funnels and water flow must connect: the spout needs to sit at the highest level and lower levels must receive flow, otherwise those areas do not score. Shared board spaces trigger scoring for lilypads, linked pools (continuous water flow), and fish; items score by level. Hitting score thresholds causes additional scoring rounds and endgame bonuses for coins and three-color fish sets.
