Giro d'Italia: The Game

A tactical boardgame that simulates a multi-stage cycling race across iconic Italian cities and mountain stages. Players control teams of riders, position them on hex-based route tiles, manage energy and feed zones, and contest stage finishes and the general classification. Movement and interactions use dice, event cards, and tokens to resolve peloton behavior, breakaways, and mountain climbs. Riders gain or lose time on the general classification through stage results and special events, while feed tiles and energy tracking affect endurance over the race. Components include route hexes, rider pieces for several teams, peloton and leader markers, dice, event and feed tokens, and reminder tables.
