Hurtgen: Hell's Forest

A grand-tactical simulation of the Allied campaign through the Hürtgen Forest in late 1944, as US, German, British, and Belgian formations fight for the road to the Rhine. Players command infantry, armor, artillery, engineers, reconnaissance, airborne, and headquarters units across a detailed map of roads, villages, rivers, and forest terrain. Three scenarios cover the September, October, and November offensives, with a learning scenario focused on the US 28th Infantry Division and a campaign lasting into December. Supply, weather, air power, fortifications, artillery, and German reinforcements shape the advance, while lull periods compress quieter stretches of the campaign.
