Iceland (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride)

An unofficial fan-made map that adapts the core mechanics of the base game to a specially illustrated Iceland board. Players collect and play colored train cards to claim routes between towns, complete destination tickets, and score points for claimed routes and fulfilled tickets. The expansion adds a separate deck of city cards that award values for visiting specific locations and occasionally grant special facilities to help complete routes. Players may discard five cards to draw five new ones as a turn option, and may trigger the endgame early by calling time when the remaining train pieces reach three. Requires train pieces and train cards from a compatible base set; stations are optional.
