Ideology: The War of Ideas

Players each take the role of a 20th-century political ideology vying for control of the world's regions. Starting with one home region, players deploy economic, cultural, and military influence to bring independent countries under their sway and contest rivals' presence. Conflict between influences is resolved through economic, cultural, or military actions determined by diplomatic stances, and players can buy Advancements such as Propaganda or Tactics to bolster influence or defend against attacks. Play continues until a player reaches a Global Influence total of 12 or more.
