The Plague reaches Florence in 1348, spreading hunger, disease, and despair through the city. Rats carry the pestilence from one location to another, strengthening its effects and advancing the Sin track, while infected sites bring the disease back to family towers and force difficult sacrifices. Players can also seek an alliance with a powerful Ravenna family by establishing trade posts along the road between the two cities. The pact grants an exclusive ability and introduces new ways to move across the map and earn infamy points.
