Players compete as rival factions under the control of a powerful shadow giant who commands enslaved pebble spirits and other captured beings. Each round players assign worker units to tasks, collect tribute from nearby villages, and manage resources to expand the giant’s stronghold. Actions include placing and moving spirit workers, freeing or controlling special captive units, building sections of the tower, and resolving encounters with river and village defenders. Scoring depends on territory influence, completed construction, and successful collection of tribute over multiple rounds.
