Joker Go

Joker Go is a board game for 2 players. It plays in 30–180 minutes and is meant for ages 8 and up.

A Go variant in which each player uses an identical deck of 27 cards showing stone configurations. On a turn, a player either places one stone normally or draws and plays a card, placing all shown stones on an open area of the board. These sudden additions can protect groups, capture stones, or create unexpected shapes. In the advanced variant, a player may place a stone, draw three cards, or play a card from hand. Building and managing the hand adds planning, as earlier moves can make future card configurations more useful.
