Players race to give three spontaneous answers to provocative, often risque prompts within an 8-second timer. Each round a prompt is revealed and the active player must blurt out three items that match the question; successful responses earn a point. The game emphasizes quick thinking, honesty and shock value as friends, family or parties trade rapid-fire, uncensored answers. Play continues until a player accumulates seven points to win.
