Khalkin-Gol: 1939

Simulates the 1939 Nomonhan/Khalkhin-Gol clash between Soviet and Japanese forces. Players command air and ground forces using a small set of unit counters and a campaign sheet to resolve engagements and operational decisions. Includes Soviet aircraft types (I-16, I-153, SB-2) opposing Japanese Zero fighters; the campaign mechanics track sorties, unit status, and campaign progress. Rule text and campaign sheet are provided in French and the game originally appeared in a magazine publication.
